Who we are

Raven of the Sacred Entheogen is a faith-based organization focusing on earth based, indigenous and ancient based theology and spirituality. Our purpose is to use the sacrament of psilocybin mushrooms and cultural practices to reconnect to our higher selves, one another, the earthly plane and universal consciousness (god). We believe that these practices, purpose, and medicine can heal generational traumas and right wrongs within the human race and our realm. We strive to promote spiritual healings, divine connections and community while empowering our participants to remember where our spirits come from, our planet earth and how the mycelial network connects us all, in this world and the cosmos......

What We Do

The Church embraces a non-denominational approach that honors and draws from the customs and beliefs of other religions that respect and value life, including Christianity. The Church believes that all religions contain elements of the Universal Truth: that God—or, as referred to within the Church, Universal Consciousness—is Love and that Love is the foundation of manifested creation and individual and communal healing. Within this framework, the Church believes that the Sacrament is nature’s greatest and primary gift to facilitate transformative connections with the spiritual world and deeper connections with self. The Church believes that Sacrament can assist those who consume it intentionally, in ceremonies conducted pursuant to Church doctrine and procedures, in accessing personal Divinity, Spiritual Healing, Spiritual Enlightenment and connection with God.

MEET OUR TEAM

Jonathon Maxwell Stanaford’s formal education came locally from Mt Hood Community College where he studied Philosophy, Communications and Religion amongst other things. Jonathon was on a path to becoming a lawyer when a psychedelic experience with mushrooms told him that this was not his path, so he used his formal education to draft the bylaws and do the legal work in forming Raven of the Sacred Entheogen. With a new purpose of building a community centered around the use of the Sacrament, Jonathon has become a renewed human ready to assist others on their path to a connection with God. Nicole Turner grew up in Oregon and has been in the social service field for 24 years. Nicole has dedicated herself to serving others in hopes of bettering the lives of and safeguarding those who cannot do those things for themselves. Her social worker heart and passion for equality and social justice lends itself easily to becoming a founding member of Oregon’s first mushroom church. Nicole feels that the use of sacrament is key to spiritually healing personal and generational trauma and believes in the restorative properties it provides to those in need. Nicole is passionate about spreading the sacrament to anyone who may benefit from its usage and feels it is the safest and most natural way to reconnect with yourself, your community and universal consciousness.
